Refund Policy
Effective Date: 16th of July 2026 • Last Updated: 16th of July 2026
The Refund Policy for CCTVpilot is governed entirely by the Refund Policy of LumoCodes. This page reproduces the LumoCodes Refund Policy for CCTVpilot-related transactions for convenience and compliance purposes. The LumoCodes Refund Policy is the single source of truth and applies to all products and services, including CCTVpilot. In case of any discrepancy between this page and the LumoCodes Refund Policy, the LumoCodes Refund Policy shall prevail.
The content below this point is the official LumoCodes Refund Policy reproduced without modifications for CCTVpilot-related use at the time of publication.
At LumoCodes, we strive to provide high-quality software and services. This company-wide Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases of our products and services.
By purchasing any LumoCodes product, plan, subscription, add-on, or service, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Policy
- All payments made to LumoCodes are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or expressly stated in this policy.
- This policy describes LumoCodes’ discretionary refund rules. It does not exclude or restrict statutory remedies, service-conformity rights, rights relating to unauthorised or fraudulent transactions, or any other right that cannot lawfully be waived.
- You are responsible for reviewing product details, plan limits, add-on quantities, billing model, currency, renewal terms, and pricing before purchase.
- Changes to this policy apply prospectively and do not remove a refund or remedy that had already arisen under the policy or applicable law before the change took effect.
2. Free Trials
- Some products or plans may include a free trial period with no payment required.
- Free trials may be claimed only once per person, business, and email address.
- Deleting an account ends any active trial immediately. Creating a new account with the same email address does not create another trial entitlement.
- Use of temporary, disposable, or single-use email addresses to claim a trial may result in trial denial, account suspension, account termination, or other action under the applicable product terms.
- Refunds do not apply to free trial use.
- At the end of a free trial, continued access may require a paid plan or other paid access purchase.
3. Paid Plans and Access Models
LumoCodes products and services may support more than one paid access model:
- Fixed-period access: A one-time payment grants access for a stated monthly, yearly, or other fixed period. Access does not automatically renew unless you make another purchase.
- Recurring subscriptions: Where offered, a recurring subscription automatically renews at the stated interval until cancelled.
- Usage-based or add-on purchases: One-time purchases may add usage capacity, credits, seats, quotas, storage, or other product limits for a stated usage period.
The checkout page or invoice will show the applicable plan, billing model, access period, add-on quantity, currency, and price.
4. Cancellations and Non-Renewal
- For fixed-period access, there is no recurring subscription to cancel. You may choose not to renew at the end of the paid period.
- For recurring subscriptions, you may cancel future renewals according to the cancellation process made available for that product or payment method. Access normally continues until the end of the current paid period.
- Refunds are not provided for unused time or unused capacity after cancellation or non-renewal, except where required by law.
5. One-Time Purchases and Add-ons
- One-time purchases, including fixed-period access, usage-based purchases, and add-ons, are generally final except where this policy or applicable law provides otherwise.
- Add-ons or similar usage-based purchases apply only to the usage period stated at checkout, in the applicable product, or in the applicable invoice. Unused add-on capacity does not roll over unless expressly stated.
- Discretionary refunds for one-time purchases or add-ons are normally considered only for verified billing errors or technical issues caused by LumoCodes that materially prevent access to the purchased service or capacity. This does not limit a mandatory legal remedy.
6. Discount Coupons and Promotional Codes
- If a purchase was made using a discount coupon, referral discount, or promotional code, any approved refund will reflect the discount applied at the time of purchase.
- No additional cash or credit will be issued beyond the amount actually paid after applying the discount.
- Coupons, referral discounts, and promotional codes used for refunded purchases cannot be re-applied unless LumoCodes expressly allows it.
7. Refund Requests and Payment Gateways
- Payments processed via gateways such as PayHere, Stripe, or other payment processors can be refunded by LumoCodes using the applicable gateway’s refund features, subject to the gateway’s technical processing times, settlement rules, and method limitations.
- Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used at purchase and may take several business days to appear, depending on the bank, card network, payment method, and gateway.
- If a payment cannot be refunded through the gateway due to method limitations, we may work with you to issue a refund via alternate means where a refund is approved.
8. Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged incorrectly:
- Contact our support team at [email protected], preferably within 30 days of the billing date so that the issue can be investigated promptly.
- Provide proof of payment, the relevant account email, and a description of the issue.
- LumoCodes will investigate and, if the issue is verified, issue an appropriate refund or account correction.
The 30-day request period is an operational request window. It does not shorten any longer period or right provided by applicable law.
9. Third-Party Policies and Chargebacks
- Refund timing and availability may be affected by the payment processing rules of the applicable gateway, bank, card network, wallet, or payment method.
- Chargebacks or disputes through a card issuer or payment provider may be available even if a direct refund is not issued. A chargeback may result in a delayed investigation or temporary restriction of disputed paid access where permitted by law and the applicable product terms. Nothing in this policy prevents you from exercising a lawful payment-dispute right.
10. Modifications
- We may update this policy as our products, payment models, or legal obligations change. Updated terms will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
- Material changes apply prospectively. Where reasonably practicable, LumoCodes will provide additional notice before a material adverse change affects a future purchase or renewal.
